Terms and conditions

1. Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Money Centre website and the process of applying for a loan. By submitting a loan application or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

2. Pre-Approval Terms

2.1 Purpose of Pre-Approval

Pre-approval provides a preliminary assessment of your eligibility to apply for a loan. It is not an offer or guarantee of credit. A full application and supporting documents are required for a formal loan offer and final approval.

2.2 Applicant Declarations

By submitting a pre-approval form, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You reside in Australia.
  • You have sufficient disposable income to service the loan.
  • The information you have provided is accurate and complete.
  • You understand that any pre-approval is conditional and subject to verification of income, expenses, assets, credit history, and overall financial position.
  • You agree that additional documents and formal credit checks may be required for full approval.

2.3 Pre-Approval Suitability

Pre-approval is designed for general reference and is more suitable for business-related loans. If your loan is for personal purposes, you must ensure you meet responsible lending conditions.

2.4 No Credit Check at Pre-Approval Stage

No credit check is conducted during pre-approval. Credit history checks are performed during final assessment if you choose to proceed.

3. Loan Repayment Terms

  • All repayments are to be made via direct debit from your nominated bank account.
  • Repayment dates and amounts will be confirmed in your final loan contract.

4. Fees and Charges for Breach or Default

In the event of a missed or dishonoured payment, you agree to the following:

  • Direct debit dishonour fee of $35 per failed payment.
  • Collection costs, including legal or debt recovery agency fees.

These charges are payable within 30 days or as otherwise specified in your loan contract. Continued failure to repay may result in legal proceedings to recover the outstanding amount.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Updated Contact Information

You agree to notify Money Centre promptly if your address, email, or phone number changes during the loan period.

5.2 Financial Difficulty

If your financial situation changes and affects your ability to make payments, you must contact Money Centre at least 24 hours before a scheduled repayment to discuss possible alternatives.
